Once the outside of your home is clean and the gutters have been cleared, it’s a good idea to see what paint needs touching up. Painting your shutters is a manageable weekend project to tackle at this time of year. It might even be a nice idea to change the color of your shutters to make them stand out. Since your front door may also need some attention, you could easily coordinate the color to match your shutters. A new coat of paint can make a big difference in the overall look of your home.
Trim the bushes
Landscaping has a big impact on curb appeal. Consider removing dead bushes or diseased portions of the bushes to give them the best chance of survival. Trim back overgrown branches on the outside of the bushes until the plants take on a more appealing look. Be sure to leave enough main branches to keep from doing harm.
